Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Measurely ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our platform at measurely.io and app.measurely.io (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you sign up we collect your email address and, if you use Google OAuth, your Google profile name and profile picture. We do not store your Google account password.
Google Ads data
When you connect a Google Ads account, we access campaign performance data through the Google Ads API using OAuth 2.0. This includes impressions, clicks, spend, conversions, and related metrics. We store this data in our own infrastructure to power your reports and dashboards. We do not access any data outside the Google Ads accounts you explicitly authorise.
Usage data
We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used solely for security monitoring and improving the Service.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or full payment details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy applies to any data shared with them during checkout.
2. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- To generate and deliver scheduled reports to you and your clients
- To authenticate your identity and keep your account secure
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To send transactional emails (magic links, report delivery, billing receipts)
- To diagnose technical problems and improve the Service
We do not sell your data or your clients' Google Ads data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
3. Data storage and security
Your Google Ads performance data is stored in ClickHouse, a high-performance analytics database. Account and user information is stored in MongoDB. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256 before storage. All data is transmitted over TLS.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and connected account data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
4. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:
- Google Ads API — to fetch campaign performance data
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
- Resend / SMTP — transactional email delivery
- Vercel — application hosting and infrastructure
Each of these services has its own privacy policy and we encourage you to review them.
5. Cookies
We use a single httpOnly session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is strictly necessary for the Service to function and does not track you across other websites. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@measurely.io. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
